The
Customer Profile Window is used to keep track of all the data about
the customer, his address(s), the actions or calls concerning him and
the address menus, in 4 separate cards.
The Exported Check Box shows that a customer has been exported into
QuickBooks Pro. The check box can be unchecked if you want the customer
to be exported to QuickBooks Pro again.
Uncheck for those customers who don't pay tax.
When a customer
has more than one person calling to book a job, you would put their
names in here so that when you search for a client the name entered
would come up and pull up this Profile. This is useful for
when a customer's wife starts booking the jobs. Instead of creating
a new profile, just enter her name here.
An Associate Customer is a different client that you to associate with
when choosing a customer. This means that when you select this customer
for booking, the associate customer also appears and asks which one
you want to use.
The Status drop-down box allows you to change a customer to a Dead File,
a Quote or back to an Active Customer.

The
Address Card displays the customers billing address and any other addresses
the customer may need work done at. |

|
Each customer address a has their own menu (price list) that you've
established with the customer. Some customers have two or more addresses
that require a seperate menu for each.
This box lists all the customer's addresses that were created in the Address
Card above. Clicking on a different address displays it for editing.
The Job Selection area is a general listing of all the jobs you offer. Double
clicking on one moves it into the Customers menu where a price can be
added. You can use the New Button to add a menu directly.
This button opens the window that allows you to enter or edit the general jobs you
offer.

The Calls and Actions Card is used to keep a record of any calls made, messages
left, future calls, jobs to do, jobs done and any other category you
may need. The Call Back data created in this card is used in the Reports
Window to make a Calling List as well as the Call Back created when
you book a job.
The Action Button opens the Actions Window. Here you'll find a list
of Action Types that you can create or remove. Changing the list of
actions changes the list in the Action Drop-Down box.
The History Button opens the Job History Window that displays all the
customer's previous jobs.
You would
use this feature if you wanted to call any customer back after a period
of time. It creates a Call Back when you book a job for a customer.

The Control Bar allows you to move forward and backward through the alphabetically-arranged
customers.
The Bookem Button opens the Scheduling Board to allow you to choose
a date and employee for the customer card you are on.
The Save Place Button saves the Customer Card you are on so you can
return to it later and that is what the Return Button is for.
